ESELLERATE LAUNCHES ITS ESELLERATE DOWNLOAD SERVICE
eSellerate today launches the eSellerate Download Service (eDS), a new value-added service provided to the end user that will not only increase customer confidence, but will also increase revenue for you.

This opportunity provides your customers with the peace of mind that they will be able to:

  • Have access to the complete and exact file(s) they downloaded with their purchase
  • Reinstall software after a computer or hard drive crash
  • Easily move their software to a new computer (provided they have a valid license for each computer)

Customers purchase eDS for $4.99 per order, which locks in the download guarantee for one year. You receive $1 of the eDS sale amount.

By default, eDS is automatically added to the shopping cart when the customer adds the first eligible SKU. If you would like to change that behavior, you can do the following:

  1. Log in to your eSellerate account.
  2. Click Policies.
  3. On the page that displays, uncheck the box in the eSellerate Download Service section.
  4. Click Save Changes.

NEW CAPABILITY FOR ECD (CD FULFILLMENT)

Another enhancement released today is the ability to automatically add the eCD SKU to the shopping cart when the customer adds the first eligible SKU.

This new feature is disabled by default. If you use eCD and would like to enable the feature, you can do the following:

  1. From the eSellerate Sales Manager home page, click eCD Fulfillment.
  2. On the page that displays, check the appropriate box in the eCD Configuration section.
  3. Click Save Changes.
