Checklist Summary

If you are not currently an eSellerate publisher, you will need to:

• Go to http://www.esellerate.net/topdownloads and fill in the "Set Up your Account" fields. eSellerate will then create your publisher account using this data.
• Accept the evaluation agreement (formality) and enter your login/password and Hint Question/Answer
• Create a Product
• Assign the Product to a SKU with the desired graphic, descriptions and price
• Assign a Web Store banner graphic
• Assign the SKU to the Web Store eSeller and upload the correct file for your users to download for a demo and after a purchase
• Access the Portals link in the Other Sales Partnerships on the main page of the Sales Manager
• Follow steps within Portals to accept the Topdownloads agreement and submit products for approval. Online help is available.
• Set up integrated or embedded web link solutions
• Submit software to Topdownloads

If you are already an eSellerate publisher, you may only need to:

• Access the Portals link in the Other Sales Partnerships on the main page of the Sales Manager
• Follow steps within Portals to accept the Topdownloads agreement and submit products for approval. Online help is available.
• Set up integrated or embedded web link solution
• Submit software to Topdownloads

As you proceed with these steps to go live with Topdownloads, please remember we are here to assist and make this a pleasurable experience. eSellerate/Topdownloads Checklist

Create your eSellerate account

If you are already an eSellerate publisher, you do not need to set up another eSellerate account. Skip ahead to join the Topdownloads portal.

1. Go to http://www.esellerate.net/topdownloads and fill in the "Set Up your Account" fields. eSellerate will then create your publisher account using this data.
2. Accept the evaluation agreement (formality) and enter your login/password and Hint Question/Answer

Submit your eSellerate Distribution Agreement to your Account Executive
This will allow us to activate your account. Your customers will not be able to make a purchase until we have received a completed copy of the Distribution Agreement and have activated your account

1. eSellerate will send you the license agreement or you can download it here
2. The completed agreement may be sent to your Account Executive via fax (402-323-6611), e-mail (scanned JPEGs or GIFs) or mailed directly (5901 N.58th Street, Lincoln, NE 68507-3249).

1. Make sure that your Distribution Agreement has been received and that your eSellerate account has been activated.
2. Login to your eSellerate account
3. Under Other Sales Partnerships, click on "Portals"
4. Click "Join Portal"
5. Enter "PTL741254225" in the Portal ID field, then click "Join Portal"

Create Product

1. On the Sales Manager home page, click "Products" from the Product Management section
2. On the Product List page, click "New"
3. Enter your product's name in the "Product Name" field
4. Click "Save Changes"

Create SKU

1. Click the "SKUs" tab
2. On the SKU List page, Click "New"
3. Specify "SKU Name" -- this will most likely be the same name you used for the "Product Name" field
4. Use the "Browse" button to locate the graphic file on your computer that you wish to display for your product
5. Specify a short description and detailed description for your application
6. Click "Save Changes"
7. On the SKU Products section, select "Add Product"
8. Select the radio button for your product
9. Specify the price for your product in the "Price" field
10. Click "Add Selected Product"

Adjust Web Store Information

1. Click the "eSellers" tab, which should display the eSeller List page
2. Your default web store should already be selected, so click "Edit"
3. Click "Edit eSeller"
4. Enter the correct information for your "Store Name", "Greeting Text", "Main Site URL", "Help URL" and "About Us URL" (if you leave Help and About Us URLs blank, they will not be displayed)
5. Select the Web Store Layout you wish to use
6. Use the Banner Logo "Browse" button to locate the graphic file on your computer that you wish to use for your web store banner
7. Click "Save Changes"

Add SKU to Web Store

1. On the Web Store SKU Categories section, Click "Add SKU"
2. Select the radio button for your SKU
3. Click "Add Selected SKU"
4. Check the "Active" checkbox
5. If you have a download for your product, select the radio button "Upload new file to eSellerate servers" in the "Buy" Download section. Use the "Browse" button to locate the file on your computer
6. If you have a trial version of your product, select the "Upload new file to eSellerate servers" radio button in the "Try" Download section. Use the "Browse" button to locate the file on your computer
7. Click "Save Changes"
8. Click "Return to eSeller"
9. Congratulations your Web Store is complete! Copy the Active URL link shown in the Web Store Links section and use it to link to your eSellerate Web Store from your web site

Set Up Return Policy

1. On the Sales Manager home page, select "Policies" from the Sales Information section
2. Under Return Policy, click the "Display Return Policy" check box
3. Name your Return Policy (default is "Return Policy")
4. Enter your Return Policy text into the text field
5. Click "Save Changes"

Submit SKUs to Topdownloads for approval

1. On the Sales Manager home page, select "Portals" from the Other Sales Partnerships section
2. Click on "Portals"
3. Click on "Topdownloads" link
4. Click on "Add SKUs"
5. Check the SKUs that you would like to sell on Topdownloads
6. Click "Add Selected SKUs"
7. Modify email if necessary
8. Click "Invite Portal to Sell SKUs"
9. You will receive and e-mail confirmation for acceptance of each SKU. After you have received this confirmation, you must submit your software to Topdownloads with the eSellerate integrated solution.

In order to sell your software from Topdownloads Networks, you must submit your application with the eSellerate integrated solution. If you are adding the sales capabilities for software that is already listed on Topdownloads, you will have to update your application with the eSellerate integrated solution.

Integrated Solution for Windows

1. Download the eSellerate SDK
2. Review how others are using our Integrated solution
3. Integrate eSellerate into your app as you desire
4. Be sure to include the Topdownloads portal ID "PTL741254225" in the Affiliate parameter within your application code

The application that you are submitting to Topdownloads must be a separate integrated build that includes the Topdownloads portal ID.

Setting Up Serial Number Sets (optional)

1. Do nothing if your product does not require a serial number.
2. If your product requires a serial number, please review the serial number options provided by eSellerate. This can be found by accessing the Serial Numbers section in your eSellerate account or here.
3. If the serial number options provided by eSellerate do not satisfy your needs contact serialnumbers@esellerate.net for more options.

1. Log on to your Topdownloads Account with the user name and password assigned by Topdownloads
2. Click on "Add New Software"
3. Follow the steps outlined by Topdownloads in the Submission Center

Note: If you are adding the sales capabilities for software that is already listed on Topdownloads, you will have to update your application with the eSellerate integrated solution.
