(10/05/2006) The eSellerate Newsgroup is changing its format and will be availiable soon. Thank you for your patience during this transition.
Appropriate Language: The purpose of this newsgroup is to provide a forum dedicated to exchanging technical information and expertise on eSellerate products and services. Sarcasm, personal attacks, slurs, extreme capitalization, and profanity in messages will not be tolerated. Messages that are deemed inflammatory in nature will be removed, and the persons posting such messages will be denied newsgroup access if abuses continue.
Message Topics: Please keep the topic of messages relevant to the subject of the newsgroup. It's normal for some message topics to drift from the stated subject. However, to ensure maximum value and benefit for all involved, please keep your messages close to the newsgroup thread's subject.
Advertising/Solicitation: Participants are asked to refrain from posting advertisements or solicitations not pertaining to the intended use and purpose of this newsgroup. All messages that advertise products and/or services are subject to be deleted, and the persons posting such messages will be denied newsgroup access if abuses continue.
Embedded/Attachment Content: Please do not attach files to newsgroup postings. Some users access these newsgroups via modem and attaching files to posting causes unnecessary download delays. If a file is necessary to aid in the resolution of a problem, you will be asked to send it to a specific location when the support staff members respond to your message. Vcards should also not be attached to messages, as they will also add excessive size to the messages.
Plaintext Formatting: Please post messages in a plain text format, as not all of the newsgroup participants use HTML capable news clients. Messages posted in HTML can be unreadable by those who do not use HTML-enabled news client software.
Excessive Quoting: Please try and quote only the relevant portion of a message to which you are replying. The original articles remain on the server and eSellerate support staff can look back in the thread to review the context of the discussion, when needed.
