eSellerate Announces Commerce System Updates
(LINCOLN, NE - USA) eSellerate today announced enhancements to their full-featured digital commerce system that include the following updates:
· Affiliate Program Enhancements
· Payment Options Now Include JCB
· Update to the eSellerate Engines
· eCD Fully Supports DMG Files
· Additional Options for Purchase URLs
· Daily CSV E-mail Improvements
· Simple MouseOver Effects in Custom Layouts

AFFILIATE PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS
eSellerate has made many updates to its Affiliate Program that provides more tools and features to you and your affiliates so that they can help to sell more of your products. With these updates come modifications to the eSellerate Sales Manager to help you control your affiliate accounts.
- Affiliates now have the ability to automatically sign up for all of your products with a single click. This also allows them to automatically sign up to sell all future products that you make available. As the manager of these products, you have control over what products are available for automatic sign-up. For information on how to enable automatic sign-up for a given SKU, go to the eSellerate Sales Manager home page and click Available SKUs. Click the SKU ID field for any SKU listed to go to the Available SKU Detail page. See the online help for Affiliate Listing Options.
- A new column has been added to your affiliate list so that you can see at a glance which affiliates are set for automatic sign-up. You also have the ability to search or view only the affiliates that have automatic sign-up activated. The new options for affiliate searching are available at the Affiliates page. To access that page, go to the Sales Manager home page and click Affiliates.
- There are times when you want to be able to offer a product to an affiliate without having it publicly listed for all affiliates. You now have the ability to set a SKU to not be listed on affiliates.esellerate.net. For more information, go to the Sales Manager home page and click Available SKUs. Click the SKU ID field for any SKU to go to the Available SKU Detail page. Then see the online help for Affiliate Listing Options.
- When EST files are updated, you have the option of sending an e-mail message to the affiliates to notify them of a change or decline to send an e-mail. For more information, see the online help page "EST: Updating EST Downloads."
- For publishers who would like to have customers transition from their site to affiliates.esellerate.net with a more consistent look, you now have the ability to host affiliates.esellerate.net in frames. For more information, go to the Sales Manager home page and click Affiliate Contact Information. Then see the provided online help.
We have delivered an Update Announcement letter to the affiliates in our program as well, notifying them of the additions to the program. The highlights of this letter are as follows:
- The My Products listing has been enhanced to include better search capabilities, item relevancy notation and the ability to delete individual products.
- They now have the ability to sell all of your current and future products with the single click of a button.
- Special messages from the publisher have been made more noticeable.
- Affiliate Name and ID has been added to e-mail notifications as a benefit to those with multiple accounts.
- New Product notification has been redesigned for better information retrieval and will be sent in dual format (HTML and plain text).
- Additional capability to test that they are receiving credit for their initiated sales.
- International ACH country listing has been expanded.

PAYMENT OPTIONS NOW INCLUDE JCB
eSellerate has expanded its accepted payment methods by adding support for Japan Credit Bureau (JCB).
With 51.6 million cardholders worldwide, JCB can be processed for customers wishing to purchase in either Japanese Yen or U.S. dollars. With this addition you will notice a few minor changes in the graphics that display in your eSellers, but not the layout of the eSeller itself. The images will now include the JCB logo. This change has been made automatically and requires no action on your behalf.

UPDATE TO THE ESELLERATE ENGINES
All of the eSellerate engines (Windows, Mac and Embedded) have been updated to include the JCB information.
We have also enhanced the eSellerate Engine for the Macintosh so that it now displays high ASCII characters (i.e.; ü, é, â, æ, and ö) in your receipts and e-mails.
We encourage you to download and use the latest version of the eSellerate engines to take advantage of these changes.

ECD FULLY SUPPORTS DMG FILES
eCD, the eSellerate CD fulfillment service, now fully supports DMG files. Instead of creating a data disc in which the file resides in the main directory, the CD will be created using the disc image from the DMG file. Each .dmg, .dmg.bin, .dmg.sit, and .dmg.hqx file will be handled as a separate disc.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FOR PURCHASE URLS
You may now create a separate custom layout web store for different affiliates and override the default store. A store ID will be assigned to these layouts and will need to be appended to the Buy URLs that you supply to your affiliates.
Conversely, you are now able to create a different Custom Layout for affiliates using the same web store. A custom layout ID will be assigned to this layout and will need to be appended to the Buy URLs that you supply to your affiliates.

DAILY CSV E-MAIL IMPROVEMENTS
High volume publishers that used to receive the Daily CSV as multiple files via e-mail will now notice that it will be sent as one single file.
You now also have the option to add the date to the file name to help you sort and store your CSV files. If you receive the Daily CSV e-mail and want to enable the new file name option, go to the Sales Manager home page and click Login & Contact Information. On the page that displays, go to the E-mailed Reports section and check the box for "Include date in Daily Summary File file name." Then click Save Changes.
SIMPLE MOUSEOVER EFFECTS IN CUSTOM LAYOUTS
eSellerate allows you to easily create MouseOver effects for images used in Custom Layouts, without having to provide your own JavaScript. You will need to upload two images to your layout: one to display by default and one to display when the user moves the cursor over the image area. Then you will need to include the hsrc attribute when using the <img> tag to display the images.
eSellerate will insert the required JavaScript for a MouseOver whenever a page correctly uses the hsrc attribute. For an example of correct usage, see the following code, which will display the image "menu_off.gif" by default, and the image "menu_on.gif" for a MouseOver:

INTERNATIONAL ACH COUNTRY LISTING EXPANDED
eSellerate has expanded the number of countries to which we can send International ACH payments to include the following: Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
If you are in any of the newly included areas and would like to start taking advantage of the savings involved with using ACH payments, please download and complete the International ACH form and fax it to your Account Executive (402-323-6611).
